Vaulting Success
British Indoor and British Universities Championships
A huge well done to Felicia Miloro who has missed nearly 2 years of training and competition competition has made an ompressive comeback.
Felicia's first competoition in wellover 1 year concluded with a respectable 3rd place finish at the coverted Vault Manchester with a vault of 3.91m. This performance was enough for Felicia to qualify for the BUCS(British Universities) and British/UK Chamnps.
At the BUCS Indoor Championships Felicia finished 3rd with a vault of 3.90m. A strong perfoemance to back up her 3.91m from a couple of weeks prior.
Onto the British Athletics Championships, the highlight of the Indoor season. Felicia was up against the best in the UK and managed a rather imporessive 4th placed finish with a vault of 4.05m and equal her own Personal Best.
Felicia's performances over the past few weeks has provent that no matter your injury, you must not lose hope and continue to fight for what you love doing.
We look forward to watching Felicia compete over this coming season to see how far she can push herself and her competitiors.
English Cross Country Championships
Parliament Hill - 26th February 2022
Huge congratulations to Samual Moakes who ran at this weekends English Championships.

Super Sportshall
Mini-League Sportshall 2021/22
Huge congratulations to this seasons Sportshall teams.
A fantastic season with some amazing achievements.
This year the season consisted of an U11's Octathlon, an U13/15's match, one full U11-U15 matches and a training match for the Regionals team. This meant that team awards were not up for contention but this didn't stop our team spirit. Looking at the provisional points we could very well have been in contention to again win the league, and yes, we will be back bigger and stronger for 2022/23 season.
East Midland Regional UK Championship Qualifier
This season we had 11 athletes selected to represent Nottinghamshire at the East Midlands Intercounties match in Grantham.
U11's Sophie Peet, Lola Guy, Jude Hemmings, Cole Pruszak, Samuel Dobb and Rowan Dobb.
U13's Georgia Waring, Olivia Wilso and Leo Cotterill
U15's Freya Vincent, Georgia Dobb and Ruby Vickers.
Other notable achievements include;
Sophie Peet wining Athlete of the match for December's Match.

U13/15 Youth Development League
Moorways, Derby - 18th May 2019
With weather far better than Match 1 performances would sorely be far better as well, and yes they were.
In the U13 Girls, our 75m Sprinters Georgia and Freya were both almost 1 second faster than in match 1, both recording new Personal bests. Georgia also recorded a new personal best in the Long Jump as well as Ruby getting a new personal best in the 800m. We also need to note our new found hurdlers with Lucy and Georgia both giving the 70m Hurdles a go for the first time. our Girls rounded off the day with a 5th placed 4x100m Relay in a time of 64.10s
In the U13 Boys it was always going to be an uphill struggle with just three athletes, but Lucas gave his all as always getting a new PB in all three events, 200m, Long Jump and Shot. Our other two athletes, Charlie and Jude competed in just one event each both also claiming PB's in the 800m and 1500m respectively with Jude also taking the win.
The U13 Girls aslo had just three athletes on the day getting 5 PB's between them with Lauren's 800m, Ami's Shot, LJ and 300m as well as Daisey in the Long Jump.
Our U15 Boys however, were strong as always, with the quartet of James, Luke, Nathaniel and Cameron coming 2nd in their 4x100m. Luke also claimed three big PB's in the 200m, 800m and Shot as Nathaniel took 1s off his 100m PB and 7s off his 1500m PB. Cameron continues to impress in the 300m and 800m getting another set of PB's as well as a PB in the Long Jump. Cameron and James also secured another 1st-1st in the 300m.

U17/20 Youth Development League
Tipton - 5th May 2019
Write up coming soon...
Mini-League
Bingham - 4th May 2019
At the U17/20’s Youth development league we compete as a composite team alongside Mansfield and Rushcliffe as the West Notts team. But with Sutton Harriers athletes making up over 50% of the team we finished 4th in the first match, just 11 points behind 3rd.
With conditions far better than last weeks U13/15’s match but still not ideal a lot of our athletes showed their winter training has paid off with Ellie Cartwright and Jess Waters taking 1st in the 11m and 200m in the U17 and U20’s respectively, Jess also ran personal bests in both. Isabelle Skelton also came 1st in the U17’s 300m and well as 1st in the B string in the Long Jump.
The men fought just as hard with Cameron Rawson competing in 4 events running 200m and 400m in personal best times and shocking us all by appearing in the Shot Putt(which Cameron has possibly never competed in?) and WINNING… and having a huge 10m throw…
Huge Thank you to Mansfield and Rushcliffe for supporting the team and to all our Athletes, Parents and Officials for their part in the day and travelling all the way to Tipton. The next match is 26th May at a much closer Burton-on-Trent.

Ken Hensby Handicap
Ashfield School - 2nd April 2019
Huge well done to all of our athletes that ran the Ken Hensby Handicap on Tuesday evening. Over 60 Members took part in the races but we could only have four winners.
Our four winners were Abbie Ellis, Lucas Gibbs, Lauren Ellis and Luke Hudd.
it is amazing to see our junior athletes taking on the seniors with Lauren and Luke being victorious on this occasion.
A notable mentions need to go to our "first across the line" athletes; Iris Clarke, Jude Ryan, Caitlin Elliott and Ben Burnham. Unfortunately for them it wasn't about being the fastest...
Can we all say a huge thank you to all the helper on the night, of which some gave up their chances of running so the event could go ahead.
And as always a super special thank you to Ann Hensby who has supported the event since it started and was on hand to present the awards.
